Register

Please complete the following registration form to reserve a place for the June – September 2027 Level 2 Advanced Upper and Lower Limb Lymphoedema Course. To complete your registration, the 50% deposit is due in April 2027 with the balance paid in May You will receive an email with details about making this payment in April 2027.

Places are limited and minimum and maximum course numbers apply. All workshop practical sessions are completed in pairs and therefore even numbers are required.

Students must have successfully completed the LES Level 1 course or equivalent lymphoedema course that is recognised by the Australasian Lymphology Association and had a minimum of 1-year experience (half time) of treating clients with lymphoedema.

As part of the course, you will do a practical component on bioimpedance. Please provide the following details for this.

If you have already attended a 3M basic Coban 2 course or LES Level 1 Lymphoedema Course, you will be required to provide videos demonstrating bandaging an arm with fingers and fanning and as well as a below knee application with boot. If you answer NO, you will be contacted regarding attending a virtual training workshop.

The following agreement is made between the participant registering for the course (as indicated on this registration form) and Lymphoedema Education Solutions (LES).

1. Registration and course confirmation

Places in LES Level 2 Advanced Lymphoedema courses are limited and minimum participant numbers apply. Some practical sessions require participants to work in pairs, and participant numbers may therefore affect whether a scheduled course can proceed.

No payment is required when submitting your initial registration for a Level 2 course.

Your registration provisionally reserves a place while LES determines whether sufficient participant numbers have been reached. LES will contact registered participants when the course has been confirmed to proceed.

Participants are encouraged to choose flexible or refundable travel and accommodation arrangements until LES has confirmed that the course will proceed.

2. Payment

Once the course has been confirmed, LES will provide payment instructions and advise the payment due date.

Your place will be secured once the required payment has been received. If payment is not received by the due date, LES may release the place and offer it to another participant.

Full payment must be received before access is provided to online learning, Klose Training modules or other participant-specific course materials.

3. If LES is unable to proceed with the course

If minimum participant numbers are not reached and LES decides that the course will not proceed before payment has been requested, registered participants will be advised and no payment will be required.

If LES cancels a course after payment has been received and does not provide an agreed suitable alternative, payments received for that course will be refunded.

If LES postpones or materially changes the course dates, participants will be advised and offered appropriate options, which may include a transfer or refund, depending on the circumstances and applicable law.

4. Participant cancellations and financial commitment

Participants who no longer intend to attend must notify LES as soon as possible in writing at info@lymphoedemaeducation.com.au.

4.1 Before course confirmation and payment

Where a registration has been accepted provisionally without payment, the participant may withdraw without a cancellation charge before LES confirms that the course will proceed.

4.2 Following course confirmation and payment

Once LES has confirmed that the course will proceed and the participant has paid, the enrolment represents a financial commitment to the course.

LES relies on confirmed, paid enrolments when committing to course delivery, including specialist presenters, venue arrangements, learning resources, equipment and practical training requirements.

Because Level 2 courses operate with limited participant numbers and minimum financial viability requirements, withdrawal of a confirmed participant may result in significant financial loss to LES, even where online learning has not yet commenced.

Where a participant subsequently cancels for change-of-mind or personal reasons, LES may retain an amount reflecting the reasonable costs and losses directly attributable to the cancellation.

These may include:

Reasonable registration and cancellation administration costs.

Payment-processing charges that are not refunded to LES.

Third-party course fees, learning-platform access and educational materials already supplied, activated or committed.

Venue, presenter, equipment and other course delivery costs that cannot reasonably be reduced or recovered.

Financial loss associated with a confirmed, limited-capacity course place that LES is unable to refill despite reasonable efforts.

Financial loss directly attributable to a withdrawal that reduces enrolments below the minimum financially viable participant number after LES has committed to delivering the course.

Where online learning, Klose Training modules or other participant-specific course access has been activated, the value and cost of that education or access may also form part of the reasonable cancellation costs.

4.3 Cancellations close to face-to-face training

Level 2 courses require participants to meet specified prerequisites, complete preparatory learning and arrange attendance at scheduled practical sessions.

Replacing a participant shortly before face-to-face training may not be practicable because a replacement participant must be appropriately qualified, have sufficient time to complete the required learning and be available to attend the scheduled sessions.

At this stage, LES may have already incurred substantial costs and committed to delivering the course based on the confirmed participant numbers.

Consequently, a late change-of-mind cancellation may result in a substantially reduced refund or no refund where LES’s reasonable costs and losses equal or exceed the amount paid.

4.4 Assessment of cancellation costs

In assessing a participant cancellation, LES will consider:

The timing of the cancellation.

The educational services and course access already provided.

Costs already incurred or committed that cannot reasonably be recovered.

Whether the participant’s place can reasonably be filled by another eligible participant.

Any financial loss directly attributable to the withdrawal, including the effect on the financial viability of the confirmed course.

Costs avoided or losses reduced as a result of the cancellation.

LES will take reasonable steps to minimise avoidable losses and will not retain more than its reasonable costs and losses arising from a change-of-mind cancellation.

4.5 Transfers to another course

Where practicable, LES may offer a transfer to another suitable course as an alternative to cancellation.

Transfers are subject to course availability, the participant meeting the relevant prerequisites, and any reasonable costs already incurred or committed for the original registration.

A transfer or course credit will not be required in place of a refund where the participant is legally entitled to receive one.

4.6 Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights, consumer guarantees or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

5. Eligibility and scope of practice

Level 2 courses are designed for health professionals who meet the qualifications, professional registration and previous education requirements specified for the relevant course.

Participants are responsible for ensuring that they meet all stated prerequisites and maintain any required professional registration.

LES may request evidence of eligibility and may decline or cancel a registration where mandatory prerequisites are not met, subject to applicable law and refund obligations.

Participants remain responsible for practising within the scope of their professional qualifications, registration and competence.

6. Course materials and intellectual property

Course materials, presentations, recordings and educational resources are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights.

Materials are provided for the registered participant’s own learning and professional reference.

Participants must not reproduce, distribute, upload, sell or share course materials or online login details without the appropriate permission of the copyright holder.

Materials supplied by third-party education providers, including Klose Training, remain subject to the intellectual property conditions of the relevant provider.

7. Privacy and personal information

LES collects and uses personal information as reasonably necessary to assess eligibility, administer registrations and payments, deliver education, communicate with participants and maintain appropriate course records.

Where necessary to deliver the course, relevant information may be provided to education partners, presenters and service providers, including Klose Training.

Participant contact details will be shared with other course participants and to sponsors or exhibitors that are part of the course unless you advise us otherwise

Participants may contact LES with questions about the collection, use or disclosure of their personal information.
