Meet the Speaker: Dr. Amanda Pigott

Dr. Amanda Pigott (BOccThy, PhD) is an occupational therapist with over 25 years of experience in oedema and lymphoedema management. She is a clinical specialist at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, an honorary research fellow at the University of Queensland, and a leading educator in the field.

Amanda has secured over $650,000 in competitive research funding and ranks among the top 2.5% of published authors on lymphoedema (Expertscape, 2024). She has trained occupational therapists for over 15 years and lectures on cancer care and complex condition management.

Her contributions have been recognized with the Contribution to Lymphology Research Award and the Dr. Dorothea Sandars and Irene Lee Churchill Fellowship. She is an active member of the Australasian Lymphology Association, serving on its research and scientific committees.
