The following Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the LES website and participation in LES courses. Click on the headings below to view the full details.
The following agreement is made between individuals (as named in their registration form) who register for courses as published on this website (the Participant) and Lymphoedema Education Solutions (LES).
Scope of Practice
The Participant acknowledges and understands that the course is designed for practitioners with suitable existing health professional qualifications. The course description identifies which types of health professional qualifications are required. The Participant agrees that they are suitably qualified in accordance with the course prerequisites. If the participant is a qualified Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Medical Practitioner, Division 1 Nurse or Podiatrist they must hold a current registration. For Massage Therapists, the participant must have a Diploma of Remedial Massage (this is a minimum requirement) from a Registered Training Organisation listed with the National Training Information Service and may include qualifications that specify a primary modality such as ‘Diploma of Remedial Massage (Myotherapy).
Payment and Refund Policy for Scheduled Courses (with online leaning and/or face-to-face components)
Upon registration, the Participant will receive a confirmation email outing the course payment schedule. To secure a place in the course, and initial registration payment (as specified in the course information) might be required. This payment reserves the Participant’s place in the course and is non-refundable should the Participant withdraw or be unable to attend for any reason. The remaining balance of the course fee must be paid by the due date specified by LES. Full payment must be received before the Participant will be granted access to the online learning component of the course. If full payment is not received by the due date, LES reserves the right to cancel the Participant’s registration and offer the place to another participant. A receipt will be issued for each payment received. A tax invoice will be provided on receipt of the full course fee. The full course fee becomes non-refundable from the commencement date of the online learning component of the course.
Payment and Refund Policy for Self-Paced/Online Courses
Full payment is required at the time of registration. Upon receipt of payment, LES will send the Participant a confirmation email and receipt for payment. A tax invoice will be provided. Where access to the online course is not provided immediately, Participants who request cancellation before access to the online learning has been provided may be eligible for a refund. Once access to the online learning has been provided, the full course fee in non-refundable.
Cancellations for Scheduled Courses (with online learning and/or face-to-face components)
Notification of cancellations must be sent by provided by email to info@lymphoedemaeducation.com.au. Places are limited and minimum and maximum course participant numbers apply. Practical workshop sessions are completed in pairs and therefore even participant numbers are required. If the Participant withdraws before access to the online learning component is made available to the Participant, the initial registration payment remains non refundable. Any additional payments received by LES above the initial registration payment will be refunded In the unlikely event that LES cancels the course prior to the online learning component is made available to the Participant,all payments received will be refunded in full.
Cancellations for Self Paced/Online Courses
Notification of cancellations must be provided by email to info@lymphoedemaeducation.com.au. If a Participant requests cancellation before access to the online learning has been provided, LES may, at its discretion, provide a refund. Once access to the online learning has been provided, cancellations are not accepted and the full course fee is non-refundable. In the unlikely event that LES cancels a self-paced online course before access has been provided, all payments received will be refunded in full.
Course Materials
All materials provided in courses and workshops are protected by Copyright and intellectual property laws. Reproduction and re-transmission of the materials, in whole or part, in any manner, without prior consent of the copyright holder, is a violation of copyright law. Individuals must preserve any copyright or other notices contained in or associated with the materials. The Participant may not distribute copies to others, whether or not in electronic form, whether or not for charge or consideration, without prior written consent of the copyright holder of the materials.
Privacy Policy
LES respects the Participant’s personal information and privacy is important to us. LES will use their best efforts to protect the Participant’s personal information from unauthorised access. LES may use the Participant’s personal information to contact them from time to time about products and services LES think the Participant may be interested in. If part of the course involves communicating via email with other course participants, the Participant agree that their email address may be shared with other course participants. LES may give the Participant’s details to course sponsors and exhibitors unless the Participant asks LES not to. The Participant should ask LES if they have any queries about providing their personal information.
Participant login email
The Participant must take care when entering their email account when registering so they receive all correspondence from LES including acknowledgement of registration, receipt of purchase and login details.
Acknowledgement
The Participant acknowledges that he/she has read and agrees to be bound by all of the terms and conditions in the Course Participant Agreement as a condition of being accepted into the course.
Please read our Terms and Conditions carefully before using our website. Proceeding to use the website will indicate your acceptance of the following Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to change the website and these Terms and Conditions from time to time without notice, and your continued use of the website indicates your continued acceptance of the Terms and Conditions as modified. If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of law, such invalidity or unenforceability will not affect the remainder of the terms of use which will continue in full force and effect.
